TYPES OF RESOURCES

There are three major types of campus resources that you need to know :

Academic Resources

Example : Library, Information Technology & Computer, Registrar

UiTM Pahang Branch, Campus of Jengka : Al-Bukhari Library I & II

Housing, Dining and Transportation Resources

Example : Buses, Dining Place, Cafe

UiTM Pahang Branch, Campus of Jengka : College Tok Gajah & College Tun Fatimah housing and dining place for students. Bus transportation for student is available at College Mat Kilau.

Student Organization Resources

Example : Extra-curricular, Leisure Activities

UiTM Pahang Branch, Campus of Jengka : Tennis Court, Football Field, Rugby Field and etc.

Discussion Room : 2 room ( 8 per person)
ICT Room : 80 computers
Exercise Room : 80 computers
Total : 1030 seats

1. Operating Hours : Open 8:30 a.m until 6:30 p.m on a regular day
: Open 9:30 a.m until 10:50 p.m on the examination season
: Open 9:00 a.m until 6:30 p.m on Saturday

2. Borrowing and Returning : Need to scanned before borrow the book
: Return the book according to the predetermined date or before it
: Usually students given time in two weeks to borrow and return the book

4. Compound : If a student lost borrowed book, he/she will be compound charged
: The student must pay the current price and process money RM 20.00

WHAT IS 'APA' STYLE ?

APA ( American Psychological Association) style is most commonly used to cite sources with social sciences.

APA Style originated in 1929, when a group of psychologists, anthropologists, and business managers convened and sought to establish a simple set of procedures, or styles rules, that would codify the many of scientific writing to increase the ease of reading comprehension.

As with other editorial styles, APA Style consist of rules or guidelines that a publisher observes to ensure clear and consistent presentation of written materials. It concerns uniform use of such elements as :

- selection of heading, tone, length;
- punctuation and abbreviations;
- presentation of numbers and statistics;
- citation of references; and
- many other elements that are a part of a manuscript.
